Question "How specify Organization (O)?", by Lucy M.

I noticed that my certificate's "Organization (O)" field is not set.

I know this because Apache warns me in my error log, and when I import and view my certificate in a browser (Firefox 3.5) I see "Organization (O): <Not part of certificate>"

How do I set this? I think it's supposed to be my domain name.

[EDIT: I already created the CSR using openssl. Is there anyway to modify that without invalidating the certificate?

Thanks!

Answer, by Laurent G.

I have a Standard SSL Certificate (don't know about you), and I was wondering why the Organisation field was not kept in the certificate. It's in part 5.2.1 of the "SSL Contract". Standard certificates provides encryption of the communication not identification of the server, because gandi can not be sure about who you are.
