I have followed the instructions to the letter however the sitemaker just will not appear. I have writeen to Gandi several times, but no response. I have a business to setup and run and am losing money waiting for Gandi to identify the problem.

I too experienced that. Annie, most likely you need to activate the website your initiated. First, sign into your Gandi.net account. Then open a new window on your browser and paste or type this link into the address bar:
https://www.gandi.net/admin/sitemaker
This will automatically take you to:
SiteMaker - List of your websites
This is a list of all the websites that you have created with Gandi SiteMaker
There you will see the website you initiated. You will see under "STATUS" that the website is NOT ACTIVE, click on "Activate."
This will route you directly to The Gandi.net SiteMaker where you can set up your website in minutes.

T.M. is correct. You will need to activate your site and attach it to your domain before it will appear on the Internet. (Please note that attaching it to your domain is a zone file change on the backend, so it will take about 3 hours to appear on the Internet.)

I am fininf myself in the same situation and not happy, my site will not activate!!
