Question "Modifying Sitemaker URLs", by Dermot S.

Hi there,

I've just created a website using SiteMaker, and have linked it to a Gandi domain name. However, I can't find any tool to customise or modify the URLs for the individual pages of the website. For example, it has auto-created long URLs such as xyx.com/#/contact/3578355, which I would simply like to change to xyz.com/contact. Is it possible to make these changes, and if so how? Any help would be appreciated.

Answer, by Exquisite D.

I don't believe so. I had this same issue with my Moonfruit website, and they said I have to have domain masking…and it's a pain.

Best of luck to you!

Unfortunately, Exquisite is correct. There is no way to modify the SiteMaker-generated URLs to your pages.
