I found this post while searching for a similar answer for a slightly different usage: I sometimes use forwards to create disposable addresses for sites that I expect to spam.
I believe this API feature helps both of us, but I have yet to test : http://wiki.gandi.net/fr/api-xml/docs/domain/mail#domain_forward_set
