Hi, I'm trying to configure the SMTP so the phpBB installation can send notifications to users. However, I'm failing so far. I thought I could use mail.gandi.net using as loging info@espiral.org and my password, but that won't work:
Error Email ยป EMAIL/SMTP /forum/ucp.php
101 : Network is unreachable
<b>[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning</b>: in file <b>/includes/functions_messenger.php</b> on line <b>979</b>: <b>fsockopen(): unable to connect to mail.gandi.net:25 (Network is unreachable)</b><br />
For what is worth I have a Simple Hosting instance where I also installed MediaWiki. Email notifications are sent by the wiki engine, although I don't recall configuring dircetly anything.
Any suggestion? Thanks!
