Questions

What is my IP address?

Gandi will automatically generate your server's IP address during the creation of your server. These numbers are sequential and cannot be customized.

To see your IP address, simply:

  1. Log into your Gandi handle
  2. Click on the 'Manage' tab
  3. Click on the 'Servers' navigation link
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. There, in the 'Server Administration' area, click on the name of the server for which you want to know the IP address. This will bring up the server's administration page.
  5. In your server's administration page, you will see its IP address in the 'General Information' area towards the top of the screen.

Note:

Your server's IP address is what you will use when you create your A record in your DNS zone file. For example:
www 28800 IN A 123.123.123.123
@ 28800 IN A 123.123.123.123

or

mail 28800 IN A 123.123.123.123
