Question "Fedora 12/13 upgrade fails", by Wojciech S.

I'm trying to upgrade Fedora 8 (which is ancient and not longer maintained) to Fedora 13.

Updating the packages (FC 8 → 9 → 10 → 11 → 12 →13) works, but after upgrading to FC12 (and FC13) the instance can no longer boot.

On the Xen console I see:

XENBUS: Device with no driver: device/console/0
...
Warning: unable to open an initial console.

I suspect the problem is caused by some init/upstart/udev problem related to changes in FC12.

Any ideas?

@Gandi: Any intentions to update the server template "Fedora 8" to "Fedora 13" in the foreseeable future?
