Question "Syntax for password?", by John C.

What on earth does that mean? I am told that I am using an incorrect syntax for "password". This is after I have finished setting up two users for two different virtual servers. I don't know whether it's one of these passwords or the main server password that has the "wrong syntax." What does that mean, anyway, what is the "syntax" of a password?

And it is not *at all* clear from the form that you are not allowed to use the same user for two different subdomains. I can see why you might want to have that restriction, but it's not terribly obvious.

OK, so now, having messed up this configuration entirely, I'd like to find a way to delete everything and start over. How do I do that? There is no "delete" option anywhere, that I can find. If I go out to the "create server" page, my previous settings are picked up without asking if I want to resume or start over. I have apparently gotten this server into a configuration that makes no sense, so your builder won't build it, but since it's not yet built, it can't be deleted.

Or something.

Hello,

"Syntax" means that the combination of characters is incorrect. This may be because you have added invalid characters, spaces, not enough (or too many characters) etc.

To delete your server, you need to stop it and then remove all the attached disks. Once this is done, you can delete it directly from your web interface.

If you have specific questions concerning your server's deletion or configuration, please contact Gandi's customer support, and provide us with your account details, and the nature and time of your problem so that we can look into your issue in detail and give you a personalized reply.
