How do I change my whois email address? I am attempting to transfer my domain away from Gandi.

Updating your information, such as address, phone number, email, etc. is simple. You may do so directly on our website from your Gandi handle administration page: https://www.gandi.net/admin/domain/update/contact

You can find this in Manage → Account → Update Your Personal Information.

The changes are then updated immediately.

If you see an encrypted address rather than your own in the whois, this means you have enabled the "Anti-Spam" feature for your domain. However, the email address in the whois does indeed forward to the email address that you have at Gandi. To turn off the your "Anti-Spam" feature, simply log into your Gandi handle and then, in the Account settings section ( https://www.gandi.net/admin/domain/update/contact ) where it says "Anti-Spam System" change it to "No". Once this is done, your handle's e-mail address will appear unencrypted in the whois.
