Hi ,
I am unable to tranfer my expired domain name away from Gandi . its idivs.com My new host tried few times but they eventually refunded my payment due to clienthold condition.
Can someone help me ?

Client Hold does not stop the transfer of a .com domain name, and so this could not be the reason why the transfer failed. You probably tried to transfer it to a reseller, rather than a registrar, and so their system may have problems with this.
You can either renew your domain to remove the status (you will not loose that year of renewal when you transfer away) so that your new provider is able to transfer it, or you can find a different provider (preferably a registrar directly) who is able to transfer .com domains in client hold status (as they can indeed be transferred under that status).
