the gandi.net communities
The page says 'Gandi creates a new handle for the owner, based on the registrant information in the whois database, as specified by the current registrar.'
But what is the password for that handle? Is this a Gandi system handle or one that I should be able to use.
You cannot request a password for it without knowing 'your favorite city' which I don't think Gandi knows for that handle.
After two emails and two days, Gandi sent me a password reminder and I could take ownership of that handle. It seems you have to email Gandi to request a password change.
While John was correct, this is in regards to our old transfer system. The new owner contact was made to help prevent domain theft. We have updated our transfer system and you can now change the owner during the transfer process.
