Why is it so much to restore a domain vs. renewing?
Restoration rates vary on the TLD and the type of account that you have, though you can see all of our restoration rates at: https://www.gandi.net/domain/price/info This higher price is in no way a penalty fee from Gandi. Rather, it is due to the fact the we are charged more by the registry for this operation than for simple renewals; consequently, this increase must be passed on to our customers for the operation.
