You have enabled the "Anti-Spam" feature for your domain. This is why the email address is obfuscated in the whois. However, the email address in the whois does indeed forward to the email address that you have at Gandi. To turn off the your "Anti-Spam" feature, simply log into your Gandi handle and then, in the Account settings section ( https://www.gandi.net/admin/domain/update/contact ) where it says "Anti-Spam System" change it to "No". Once this is done, your handle's e-mail address will appear unencrypted in the whois.
