can i use gandi DNS server with domains I have registered with other domain registration companies?

BTW I have a gandi user account with domains and a server running with gandi.

somehow I think gandi should have more support for people using gandi hosting, but using like you and I another domain registrar.

If your domain name is not registered with Gandi, you will need to contact your registrar and request that the zonefile of the domain name be modified by adding the following records :

Note: In both cases, a propagation delay of about 3 hours will be necessary before the change is taken into account. "

Gandi's DNS servers cannot be used for domains at other registrars. Luciano is correct in that you will need to edit your zone file at your current registrar and point your domain at your Gandi server.
