Hi Folks,
I need to configure the DNS for my domain to go to my website, unfortunately I have tried everything that is in your FAQ but it does not work.
I am hopeless right now, I have posted the message in French but I haven't got any answer :(
My host only gave me an IP address to configure my DNS. It looks easier on 1and1.fr according to them.
Best Regards
Mina
You first need to ensure that Gandi are your primary DNS servers for your domain, in the domain under technical settings it will show you the name servers. If they are the primary then you can manage the zone file at which point you can then insert a new record to point to the IP address of your host.
Ste
I am having the same problem. I have tried the name for my host's servers and submit, but the change does not take. The dns name is good because I have a number of sites at that host/server and had no problem changing the dns on those domains from other registrars.
When I submit the dns change, it takes me to the part 2/2 page and when I press activate I am taken back to the management page where the Gandi dns names are still in place. I have waited more than sufficient time to see if changes might have been made.
Did anyone come up with an answer to this question? I am having extreme difficulties with this as well. I pointed my domain to my Squarespace account, but it is not working. I've tried over the past two weeks with no success and it is really frustrating me. I've changed the zone files per Squarespace's requirements but it is not sticking. Please help!
