My domain is registered with gandi.net (agentfischer.com). The site hosted by GoDaddy.com. I changed the DNS record to point to GoDaddy (ns1 … and ns2 …). That works fine. Email is supported by Google Apps and does not work. There is no place in the Gandi.net UI where I can set the MX records. I only have the DNS 1, 2, 3 … fields. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for any insights.

Hi,
Same issue here, I don't have:
2. click Manage DNS zone file. 3. Click Add an entry. 4. In the Type box, select MX. 5. Leave the Name box blank. 6. In the Value box, type or paste the MX record information provided "blablabla" 7. In the MX priority box, enter 1 to make this your highest priority MX record. 8. Click Submit.
I can update the DNS but not Add an MX record.
Any help or advice here please ???
Thx / Nic
For technical reasons, it is only possible to change the zone file that is associated to a domain name at the company or person the manages the server. This is simply because only they have the possibility of accessing the server's configuration.
In your case, you are not using Gandi's DNS, and so these are not changes that you can make with us. Were you to be using our DNS, you could change your zone file as explained here: http://wiki.gandi.net/en/domains/management/gandi-dns-zonefile/normal
So you will need to see with your DNS provider in order to change the records in your zone file.
The other option would be to change your servers to use Gandi's DNS servers:
a.dns.gandi.net b.dns.gandi.net c.dns.gandi.net
Then, you can change your zone file here, as explained in the previously-linked tutorial.
As a reminder, the Gandi Wiki and Gandi Groups are not for official support from Gandi. They are for peer-to-peer customer support. If you have any specific questions, please send in a Support Ticket: http://www.gandi.net/support/contact/
