Changing Account Information

If you need to change any of your personal information that is associated with your Gandi handle -and thus your domains- (e-mail or street address, telephone number, etc.), please keep in mind the following points:

  • You must be logged into the handle that is to be changed (can't log in?).
  • If you are unable to change information, notably the e-mail address (ex. it is greyed out), of a handle, you are using the wrong handle (click here for more info on this).
  • It is impossible to change the name, or spelling of a name, of a Gandi handle. To do this, you must proceed with a contact change or an ownership change.

Logging into the handle to be changed

Then, in the "Manage" area of our website, click on the "Account" tab.

You will then be taken to a list of management options regarding the handle that you have logged in under.

Proceed by clicking on the link that says, "Update your personal information", and you will be taken to your personal information form, where you can update everything except the name associated with the handle, its type (an individual, an association, etc.), and the handle name itself (XXX-GANDI).

Note:

When updating your information, and to avoid errors, or future problems, please:
  • include correct and valid information (this is required by our sales conditions),
  • use the correct telephone number format (ex. +1.1231231234 for the USA),
  • verify that your e-mail address is current (all Gandi notices are sent to the address provided).
  • If you have a .fr domain name, you must have a valid French address and telephone number.
  • If you have a .eu domain, your address must be in the European Union.
