How do I publish a site built on Gandi Sitemaker to my domain?
Linking your newly created Gandi SiteMaker website to your domain name at Gandi is quite simple.
Begin by logging into your Gandi handle, on our website. Then, proceed to the Gandi SiteMaker tab at: https://www.gandi.net/admin/sitemaker/
On that page find the website you want to point to your domain name in your list of websites. Then, look to the right-hand side of the table, and you will see the "Actions" column. Click on the "+" symbol to point the website to your domain name.
You will now see the page where you can attach the website to a domain name.
Simply enter the subdomain that you want to use for the address. For example, if you want your website to point to www.supersite.com then enter "www.supersite.com" in the address field. Check the "Primary address" if you want that to be the main address (I would suggest this).
Then, you may see an error message that says something about the domain not being configured, along with instructions on how to change the zone file. If this is the case, please refer to our zone file guide to make the necessary changes: http://wiki.gandi.net/en/domains/management/gandi-dns-zonefile
Once you have made all these changes, you will need to likely wait a few hours before you can test them. This is because it will take some time for the technical changes in the DNS to take affect.
