Question "Domain Transfer out of Gandi", by Marcos V.

Good Morning,

I am a bit concerned about the different comments on gandi's response times. I have requested via your service request template a specific domain to be moved out with another provider and I'd better get an answer soon.

It is not covered within your standard Q&A though it is basic customer service. Thanks in advance for your due diligence.

If someone from the community got a better contact/way to accelerate such process I would appreciate sharing it.

Regards,

Yep,unfortunately it is sometimes "selective" aswering of questions,I am also getting out of here ASAP, and thats 'no bullshit' You need to get an authorization key for your domain name, and this you use at the host where you will be transferring your domain to,

try this,

To find the authorization key for your domain name, you need to log into

your domain's control panel using the owner or administrative contact of
your domain name (if you are unsure of what these are, see our
troubleshooting page at:
http://wiki.gandi.net/en/domains/troubleshooting).

Then, click on the domain you wish to transfer, and you will see an
"Authorization key" link in the General Information box at the top
of your domain's control panel. Simply click on that link to see the code.

Hello, On the transfer page of this wiki we have a section that provides information on how to transfer your domain to another registrar. http://wiki.gandi.net/en/domains/transfer

Keep in mind that transfers are managed by the Gaining registrar, and that in the case of a transfer leaving Gandi, you would therefore need to see with the new registrar to see why the transfer may have failed.

For specific questions concerning your domain, you should contact our support team: http://en.gandi.net/faq/form_contact_support/

We reply to each and every support inquiry sent to us, and within a maximum of 24 hours, though generally sooner.
