I don't get any email sent to the "xxxxxxxxx@contact.gandi.net" address though I have made sure my account's real email addresses are OK. I even tried creating a new admin login getting a new "xxxxxxxxx@contact.gandi.net" address using another "real" address, but still no emails?

THAT IS BECAUSE GANDI IS SCREWING WITH US AND WONT LET US TRANSFER AWAY FROM THEM. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR TWO WEEKS AND THEY DON'T RESPOND AND TODAY IS THE EXPIRATION OF MY DOMAIN, GANDI SUCKS!
Turn off youor anti spam on your account. this only took me 2 days to find out :(
Mike H. is somewhat correct. By turning off your "Anti-Spam" setting, your email will be made visible to the public. Also, turning off this setting is necessary for domain transfers.
However, mail to your xxxxxxxxx@contact.gandi.net will be forwarded to the actual email address on your account. This should not be an issue for any normal operation. The "Anti-Spam" effect comes into play when you make any changes to your account. If the account changes at all (name, address, email, etc.), a new Anti-Spam address is generated and applied to your account: yyyyyyyyy@contact.gandi.net Therefore, any mail sent to xxxxxxxxx@contact.gandi.net after your account change will be rejected and bounce back to the sender. Thus, please check to see that people are sending the emails to the current address.
