To configure your Gandi SiteMaker website so that it uses www.example.com :
1. Log into your Gandi SiteMaker admin page: https://www.gandi.net/admin/sitemaker/
2. Click on the orange "+" icon that is associated to your website in the list
3. On the page that appears, enter the address that you want, for example: www.example.com
4. Check "primary" address if you want this to be the "main" address of your website.
5. Click "add" to continue. Then, you will just need to wait a while (up to 3 hours max) for the propagation to occur, and then you will be able to visit your Gandi SiteMaker website at the address you chose.
Note:
You may see an error message that says something about the domain not being configured, along with instructions on how to change the zone file. If this is the case, please refer to our zone file guide to make the necessary changes: http://wiki.gandi.net/en/domains/management/gandi-dns-zonefileOnce you have made all these changes, you will need to likely wait a few hours before you can test them. This is because it will take some time for the technical changes in the DNS to take effect.
