Our hosting solution is based on virtualized technology so you have the ability to add and to remove resources from your server while it is running. This means that you can assure that its performance is always optimized for your web applications.
To access the server's management interface, you must first go to the hosting section of our website once you are logged in with your Gandi handle. From there, be sure to click on the name of the server you want to modify.
You will then see your server's information page, which is where you can change the components that are attributed to it:
Note:
Before, we added directly a share to a VPS, now, you add the components of a share to a VPS, thus, you may directly buy optional resources unless you need bandwidth. You may create a VPS with one or more resources shares, a share represents the right to create a VPS and contains all needed resources to run a virtual server.
You can allocate the resources of a share or the optional resources to a VPS, during the server runs, without any interruption of it (unless you request a big change on RAM memory for example).
To modify the resources used by a VPS, please click on the server name in the hosting section.
In the 'informations' section, you will be able to change the resources used by the current VPS.
Note:
Some operations need a reboot, like updating the RAM with a big offset, more than 2GB for example.
