If your domain has not yet been unblocked by your current registrar, you will see a message saying that the domain is not available for transfer, and you will be given a link to see the whois information.
By clicking on the whois link, you will see the reason for the domain being blocked. Domains that are blocked for transfer, but are active, typically look like the following:
You must then contact your current registrar and request that they unblock your domain for transfer. Once you have done this, please return to this page to try again. Are you sure that the domain may be transferred?
