Note:
Your web host gives you these DNS after you have created an account with them, and after you have told them the name of your domain. If you cannot access your website or if your website is offline, please contact your web host, as their DNS are responsible for your site and e-mail.To add or update your existing DNS to those of another web host, begin by logging into your domain's control panel with the owner, administrative, or technical Gandi handle (remember, if you have more than one domain, you need to click on the domain in your list of domains). (Do you have problems logging in?)
Then, look to the "Name Servers" section towards the bottom of the page…
Click on the link that says "Modify Servers". This will bring up the page where you can specify the names of the Name Servers (DNS) that your web host has given you. Please note that you will need to replace all of the DNS that are filled into the boxes with the new ones that you want to use.
That is all!
Your change will not take effect immediately. Please wait at least six hours before checking to see if it works.
If the DNS update does not work after one day (your website is not visible on the internet, or your e-mail does not work), please:
