Changing the contacts of a domain

The contacts of a domain name often need to be changed for the following reasons:

  • if you need to change your technical contact (ex. to allow for a technician to change your DNS, without worrying about losing access rights to your domain)
  • the person that is managing your domain has left your company, and you need to remove their access rights to your domain and give them to another person
  • you simply want to give administrative, technical and/or billing rights to a third party.

If you need to change the contacts of a domain, you must first be logged in as either the owner of the domain or the domain's administrative contact (if you are unsure about what these are, please click here).

You can change the contacts of a domain by:

  1. using the "batch change" function in your list of domains
  2. modifying only one domain name
