If you are used to a shared hosting environment, but would like to pick and choose what services you run on your server, then setting up your hosting experience at Gandi using Gandi AI (custom mode) will be comfortable for you.
Gandi AI (custom mode) allows you to choose what packages you would like installed on your Gandi virtual server, while allowing us to install and configure them for you. You only need to select the services that you want and to provide administrative details.
1. Log into gandi.net with your handle 2. Click on the 'Host' tab at the top of Gandi's website. This will bring up our web hosting presentation page. 3. At the bottom of the hosting presentation page, click on the button that says "create a server"
4. Select the number of shares that you want to use for your server.
5. Choose "Use Gandi AI in custom mode".
You will now be presented with a list of all the services that you can ask Gandi to install on your server for you. To not install a service, be sure to check the "Do not install" button at the top of each service description.

7. Choose your host name (the name of your server for easy identification) and password.
8. choose for how long you want to have your server (you can change this later). 9. accept the contract
10. enter your Gandi handle in the box to authorize the debit of your prepaid account.
