====== Changing Account Information ====== If you need to change any of your personal information that is associated with your Gandi handle -and thus your domains- (e-mail or street address, telephone number, etc.), please keep in mind the following points: * You must be logged into the handle that is to be changed ([[en:domains:troubleshooting:login|can't log in?]]). * If you are unable to change information, notably the e-mail address (ex. it is greyed out), of a handle, you are using the wrong handle ([[en:domains:troubleshooting:find-handle|click here for more info on this]]). * It is impossible to change the name, or spelling of a name, of a Gandi handle. To do this, you must proceed with a [[:en/domains/management/change-domain-contacts|contact change]] or an [[:en/domains/management/change-domain-owner|ownership change]]. ===== Logging into the handle to be changed ===== Then, in the "Manage" area of our website, click on the "Account" tab. {{en:domains:management:en:manage-account.jpg}} You will then be taken to a list of management options regarding the handle that you have logged in under. Proceed by clicking on the link that says, "**Update your personal information**", and you will be taken to your personal information form, where you can update everything **except** the name associated with the handle, its type (an individual, an association, etc.), and the handle name itself (XXX-GANDI). When updating your information, and to avoid errors, or future problems, please: * **include correct and valid information** (this is required by our sales conditions), * **use the correct telephone number format** (ex. +1.1231231234 for the USA), * **verify that your e-mail address is current** (all Gandi notices are sent to the address provided). * If you have a .fr domain name, you must have a valid French address and telephone number. * If you have a .eu domain, your address must be in the European Union.
